These policies cover accidental death or disablement to the insured. Compensation will be payable to the insured or to his legal representative in accordance with the sum insured and scale of compensation agreed and specified in the policy schedule.
Retirement Benefit Schemes
These are employer sponsored arrangements, set up under irrevocable trust. Upon being set up the scheme is a separate legal entity. The principle objective of setting up an Occupational Retirement Benefits Scheme is to provide for employees upon their retirement or for their dependents on the unfortunate demise of an employee.
Bodily injury caused by violent accidental external and visible means. Such injury or injuries shall within six months from the date of occurrence thereof cause or result into any contingencies.
Work Injury Benefits Act (WIBA)
This cover is given against employee’s bodily injury by accident or disease arising out of and in the cause of employment in the business of the employer.
